              Shrinagar was destroyed in 1803 Earthquake. Half of Shrinagar was in ruined condition. Maularam wrote praiseworthy Sanskrit Shlokas for following diety Temples of Shrinagar (Dr Dabral from Maularam manuscripts)-

   In 1812, Gorkha/Gurkha administration sanctioned Gurkha Rs 1003. 50 or Farukhabadi 999 and ten ana for  66  Temples of Shringar and surrounding area and major temples were-

Dakshinakali Temple in Shrinagar or surrounding area   

Mahishmardani Temple in Shrinagar or surrounding area

 Gurkha/gorkha administrators provided many villages for many temples as Kamleshwar.

Top Gurkha /Gorkha Administrators Kaji Bahadur Bhandari and Dashrath Khatri recorded the boundaries (mendbandi) of villages and villages offered to temple in 1912.
