Yatyendra Prasad Gaur: A Modern Garhwali Lyricist famous for his various Poetic Images of Garhwal

                         Yatyendra Prasad gaur is modern lyricist of Garhwali poetry. The modern Garhwali Rhymester Gaur is well-known for his creating images of Garhwal.
              Yatyendra Prasad Gaur was born in village Bichhal Simal, Ajmir of Pauri Garhwal on 27th April 1967. His mother name is Shrimati Pyari Devi and father name was late Shri Govind Prasad Gaur.
              Yatyendra Guar got his B.Ed. degree after passing M.A in English and Economics. From his childhood age, Yatyendra had attraction for music. Yatyendra Gaur is diploma holder in Music form Allahabad; Gaur took singing training from Manohar Singh Rawat of Kotdwara and Mohan Singh Rawat of Pauri. Yatyendra Gaur took training of Tabla playing from Mohmmad Kayum Khan of Nazibabad .  
            Yatyendra got inspiration from great Indian singer Narendra Singh Negi to write lyric in Garhwali.
  Yatyendra Gaur released Garhwali song album as ‘ Barkhwalun Chaumas’. The aid album was praised by common men and was appreciated by literature critics too.
      Gaud had been writing Garhwali poetries for magazines-newsletters as  Ghughati, Khabar Sar, Shailvani Siddhvani, Chitthi Patri, Garh Gaurav.
  Akashvani (Radio Station) Nazibabad have relayed songs and folk songs by Yatyendra Gaur.
           Recently (2009) published his first modern Garhwali lyric collection ‘Garhwali Bhaun’ from Samay Sakshya Dehradun.   
             The great Indian singer Narendra Singh appreciated very much the style and structure of lyrics of Yatyendra gaur.
  Famous Garhwali and Hindi critic and literature historian Dr. Nand Kishor Dhoundiyal praised the poems of Yatyendra Gaur. Yatyendra would be remembered for his lyrics creating the various images and mood of Garhwal.
 Gaur created marvelous images of Ajmir region and Gangasalan regionin his various Garhwali poems as Gadh –Mabgarh ; Malini Pandu ki Bala he Shakuntala, Gendu Khyalela Ho aaaa  
The following poem is about Malini emerging from upper Chandakhal
माळू  का जौड़यूंद बौगदी ठंड़ू पाणी मालिणी
गंगा सि  पवित्र प्यारी छाळू पाणी मालिणी 
मल्या चंडाखाळम बटी अवतरित ह्वै तू मालिणी
अद्बाट अकौशानी हूणी , तेरी सौज्ड्या मालिणी

 ऊंची धार शिवलिंगी अन्वार।
ऐंच आगास माया नीलू छतर जौ जस देंद हे भूमि भूम्याळ
हे इष्ट माs गढ़ , माs गढ़
