                  Hindu Mythology divided era into four periods –Satyug, Dwapar, Treta and Kaliyug. Kaliyug means Iron Age or the era of machines or industrialization Age or Dark Period or the period of liars.

   The following Kumaoni-Garhwali folk song describes the negative features of Kaliyug means the era of machines or industrialization Age or Dark Period or the period of liars.
