  There are many festivals in Ravain. The Raj Maun festival of Dhangaryan is very important festival. In old age the King of Tehri Riyasat used to inaugurate or attend the festival.

The following folk song explains the rush of people for participating in Raj Maun festival. People ask the forecaster about the date of festival. The forecaster tells that the auspicious date for Maun festival is on twelfth of Ashadh, Sunday.
