    Manoj Chandola hails from Pokhari village, Kanda Patti of Bageshwar , Kumaon. Manoj Chandola was born in 1964. From his student life, Chandola was attached to theatre.
    Manoj is attached to a Hindi film ‘Rajula’ (produced by Priyanka Chandola and Rama Upreti and penned and directed by Nitin Tiwari). Manoj wrote lyrics for the film. The music is composed by Sudhir and Milind for Rajula.
    Film Rajula attempts for understanding the power of ‘Woman in Love’. Ravi a journalist is in search of unique love story for his documentary film and encounters with famous Kaintura folklore Rajula Malu Shahi. The film goes with folk story of Rajula Malu Shahi and modern day life together. The feature film is very challenging from screenplay point of view. The film reveals many complicated human relationship and the realities.
  The film is filmed in Uttarakhand and shows beauty and harmony of Hills of Uttarakhand. There are 25 dialogues in Kumauni and Garhwali in the film.
   When this author talked with Manoj Chandola he revealed that the Rajula team is using Hindi language as platform to show the culture and past of Garhwal-Kumaon (Uttarakhand).
  Rajula got first prize for Best Audience preference Award in International Film festival 2012.
