                  Worldwide Concept of Selling Daughters for Survival
  There are many modern stories written on the subject of selling daughter by father for repaying loans in various language especially Asian languages and African languages including Garhwali. There are reports father selling daughter for repaying loan. There is a famous Thai sad story ‘Daughter for Sales’ about selling daughter for repaying loan. There are stories and poems in North Korean literature about selling daughter for repaying loan. The poem ‘I sell my daughter for 100’ by famous poet Kim Jang of North Korea stirred the literature creative and social figures. Mary M. Cameron has exclusive chapter on parents selling daughters in Nepal in the book ‘On the Edge of auspicious: Gender and Caste in Nepal (pp196..).  Jill E. Korbin provides lengthy details of selling daughters in China in his book ‘Child Abuse and Neglect: Cross Cultural prospective (pp -169). Janice Stockard also provides stories of selling daughters in the book ‘Daughters of Canton Delta’.  Anthony Molho et all provide the concept of selling daughters in Europe (Finding Europe). Marko Hajdinjak illustrates the concept of selling daughters in Europe (Smuggling in Southeast Europe). Charles Eliot present s cases of concept of selling daughter in Africa (The East Africa Protectorate) . These and other literature show that the concept of selling daughters for survival is quite old concept and had been there in every community. Many American literatures creative raised the issue of selling daughters in their poetries and fictions.

                       Sava Ser Panch Man: A Story of Selling Daughter for repaying Loan  

  Sava Ser panch Man (Hilans, August 1988) is the story written by Vijay Lingwal. Poverty is an antique aspect of humanity and human beings does many unusual thing for removing poverty or debts.  Kamal Sing took loan for one thousand bucks from Padhan when the rice was available at five kilo per rupee and now the rate is one and quarter kilo per rupee.
Padhan pursued for recovery and Kamal Sing agrees to marry his daughter with Padhan for returning the debts. His daughter Rukma expires reaching to her in laws house.
 The story language is simple and with lot of Garhwali phrases.
