Fiction Style of Sudama Prasad ‘Premi’


(Review of Modern Garhwali Fiction)
Let us celebrate Hundredth year of Modern Garhwali Fiction!

                  Sudama Prasad ‘Premi’ is one of the important signatures of Garhwali poetry and fiction.  His stories are mirror of Garhwal and Garhwalis with sufficient imagination. Imaginary webbing is specialty of Premi.
                 Ghanghtol is in autobiography style. The main characters of Sudama Prasad are sensitive, emotional and have love for something. l Most of his main characters are ideal and aware about their responsibilities. Creating emotional characters is again specialty of Sudama Prasad. Premi create love scene with emotion.
          The Garhwali fiction writer Sudama Prasad Premi create There is the contemporary Garhwali situation atmosphere and characters in his stories. Premi uses of symbols are appropriate with the situation.
  Premi uses description of situation and the characters dialogues parallel for making strong characterization. Premi uses common Garhwali words and not city words. He uses proverbs abundantly. The stories related to migrated Garhwali subject are mostly having pain of separation.  There is no doubt that Premi uses Hindi words abundantly for smooth flow of stories. Dialogues are to accelerate the flow of stories in stories of Sudama Prasad Premi.
The place of Sudama Prasad Premi is important in Garhwali literature.
