When Krishna says in Geeta that ‘I was there when xyz were there or this was told by Surya to xyz “that means conscious was there when this galaxy or elements were formed in hidden form.
Same thing is applied in poetry that conscious or emotions were same from the beginning of poetry creation as they are in today’s poetry creation. Poets have been changing symbols for creating same emotions that Krishna is talking about.
Madan Duklan is important signature in Garhwali poetry not that he created volumes but readers and critics admire Madan that he brings new symbols for describing emotions and creating enjoyable images.
He perfectly bends old common phrases and newer symbols for creating the desired images into mind.
The following poem is an illustration for critics admiring Madan Duklan.

The above poem is one of the representative poems of modern Garhwali poetry.
