No doubt, the story ‘Bhoot ku Chuffa Hath’ is a moral story. However, the story writer shows the contemporary issues of society and their main concerns. A strong built man, very active in his agriculture works Nathu was village Padhan (jameedar). He did not send his son Gabdu   to school. Gabdu got unwanted friendship.  After the death of Nathu, Gabdu did not come in line and was busy with his lazy friends. The family started losing farms and balance farms were not producing food enough for the family. One day, his wife found that there are no cereals at all to cook. She goes to steal the crop (Kauni) from the Seth’s farm. Gabdu became conscious of his wife’s activity, goes behind his wife and when Gabdu finds the reality he was shocked.
The story depicts the laziness of male partners of village families and their unawareness about new changes taking place.
The tale telling style is attractive.
