This assembly completed five years.
यीं विधान सभौ न पाँच साल पुरो करिन
At present, there is Bhartiy Janta Party rule in the state.
अबारी सूबा मा भारतीय जनता पार्टी क राज च
There are 76 assembly seats in the state of Uttarakhand
उत्तराखंड सूबा मा ७६ विधान सभा सीट छन
The election will be held on 30th January 2012

Bhartiy Janta Party, Indian National Congress parties are main contenders and Bahujan Samaj Party, Samajvadi Party are seems to be stronger in plains of Uttarakhand.
