     Abhimanyu ‘s story brings bravery and pathos raptures  among the audience when Aujees sing the story of Abhimanyu’s entry into Chakravyuh  a circle strategy coined by Drona Chary the Army chief of Kaurava.

 Except Arjun, no other Pandavas knew about fighting against Chakravyuh. Arjun was away in another battle. Abhimanyu heard the story from his father Arjun while Abhimanyu was into womb, when Arjun was telling about breaking Chakravyuh to his wife Subhadra the mother of Abhimanyu. Kauravas killed Abhimanyu by wrong means against rules set before battle of Kurukhsetra. .

 In Garhwal, Abhimanyu Baja Nrity geet is also called ‘Bala Ghnadyal’ . ghandyal is one of the oldest deities  of Garhwal

साथ छ वैका किरसण सारथी

घर मा रयुं च बालो अभिमन्यु

मी जौंलो पिता रण भूमि -लड़ाई

छै किलों की कथा मैन मा का पेट मा सुणयाले

जब माता सुभद्रा तैं लगी छै पेट की वेद

अर्जुन न लगाई छै द्वारों की कथा

चक्रव्यूह तोड्नो कु जान्दो छ बालो घंडयाळ

बीरता से दंग रेने पापी कौरव

चालो कौरिक तौं मारे बालो अभिमन्यु
