YOUNG UTTARAKHAND: An Introduction

Young Uttarakhand is an endeavor of youth of uttarakhand, was established in year 2004.  YU is a brain-child of young people those are committed to the cause of social and cultural transformation in central Himalaya of Uttarakhand.  With the United youth of Uttarakhand, today YU is a largest organized community of Uttarakhand.

These experienced youth are working their every sinew to popularize the need of voluntary action and community participation. However the core team is composed of dedicated youth who opted for the mission to take up need based plan to witness a cultural, social, educational and public health transformation.

History of YU  

2011	- YU Organized : ·       2 career guidance camps at GIC Kwerla, Salt, Almora & GIC MunnaKhal, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand
2010	- YU Organized : ·       Second YOUNG UTTARAKHAND CINEMA AWARS(YUCA) for the year 2010, was held on 20th day of February 2011 at Sirifort Auditorium, New Delhi ·       2 career guidance camps in Uttarakhand. ·       1 Blood Donation Camp, Netaji Nagar New Delhi
2009	- YU Initiated : ·       First YOUNG UTTARAKHAND CINEMA AWARS(YUCA) for the year 2009, was held on 9th day of May 2010 at Dr. Sarvpalli Radhakrishan Auditorium, New Delhi - YU Organized  : ·       2 career guidance camps in Uttarakhand.
2008	- YU Organized  : ·       1 Health checkup camps in Uttarakhand. ·       2 career guidance camp in Uttarakhand.
2007	- YU Organized  : ·       1 Health checkup camps in Uttarakhand. ·       1 career guidance camp in Uttarakhand.
2006	- YU Organized  : ·          2 Health checkup camps in Uttarakhand. ·          1 career guidance camp in Uttarakhand.
2005	- YU Organized  : ·          2 Health checkup camps in Uttarakhand. ·          1 career guidance camp in Uttarakhand. ·          Forth YU meets at Garhwal bhawan. ·          Fifth YU meet at Garhwal Bhawan.
2004	- YU Organized  ·          several meets of Non-resident people of Uttarakhand in Various cities. ·          First Delhi Meet on 4th July 2004. ·          Second YU meet at Garhwal Bhawan, Delhi. ·          Third YU meet at Garhwal Bhawan, Delhi.
