(Abstract: In this article, the writer details the animals and birds oriented children poems of Garhwali children folk songs and children songs of hundred of languages dealing animals and birds.)

There are many folk songs for children in Garhwali language which illustrate animals and birds. The use of animals and birds are of two types -first animals as animals and animals as human beings as found in other language’s children poems.
